Empowering Early Career Educators: Inquiry, Collaboration and Mentor Development (Cycle 1 Meeting #1)

Objectives of this Course

  • Enhance Professional Growth & Reflective Practice – Provide a structured environment for new teachers to set growth goals, engage in focused inquiry cycles, and develop reflective teaching practices that support retention and long-term growth.
  • Foster Collaboration & Mentor Development – Create opportunities for cross-site collaboration, as well as to practice coaching skills to support the development of future teacher mentors.

During Cycle 1 Meeting #1

Participants will spend time reflecting on their teaching practice and the CSTPs in order to develop an Inquiry Cycle Focus. Participants will then form small groups with other participants and will be introduced to a few resources around coaching conversations.

This is an all day In-Person session. Sub Coverage will be provided.

Participants who complete 2 inquiry cycles will also be eligible to register and earn 1 unit from CSUF.
